Hello Everyone!


You may have noticed from the recent journal updates that I've been making some rather drastic changes around here.

Basically I've recategorized what I consider to be a dead club and a dying club. I've eliminated an entire classification (the Ghosts have now finally crossed over, so to say). Active is still activity within the last 6 weeks, but the Ghost section has been entirely merged into Dead, and Dead is now any club that has not updated in more than 6 months. Basically, from past experience, it's quite rare for a club thats been inactive for more than 6 months to come back from the dead, so I was simply making more work for myself by keeping that distinction.


Today I went through all the dead clubs in the watch to separate out the ones that have been logged into recently, but not updated. It's just about 20 clubs, and it really ticks me off that someone is sill checking up on it but not doing anything. Why bother? Even if there's nothing to update, a club should still make itself look active; update the welcome journal for cryin' out loud.


Why I'm on the rant wagon, for the love of god if you are planning on making a club please don't start one up that's exactly the same as fourteen other clubs.


In sadder news, if you haven't heard yet, legendary Disney artist Ollie Johnston died yesterday. He was 95. Rest in peace Ollie.
