Titles beginning with "The" or "A" will be alphabetized by their
second word. For example,
The Lion King is alphabetized under "L".

Disney Theme Park Characters are on the A-F journal under "Disney's Theme Park Characters"

Disney Fairies from the books and the new Tinkerbell movie are also on the A-F journal, under "Disney Fairies".

The core Disney cast is listed under "House of Mouse".

Mickey Mouse and Tinkerbell were claimed TWO YEARS AGO. For the love all that is good, DO NOT CLAIM MICKEY OR TINK! Read rule #4!!!

It may be up to two months before I have time to update claims. Please do not bagger me by repeatedly commenting "Has my claim been listed yet?" If you've not received a reply stating your claim has been listed, it hasn't been listed.

Our sister club *
disney-parkhoppers has a parks related crew!
The Disney-Parkhoppers Claimers' CrewThe Important Stuff you need to follow or else I will yell at you:

1. Any Deviant can claim a character. You do not have to be a watcher of the Directory or any of our listed clubs. Club sites are not eligible to claim characters.
2. Only Disney Characters are allowed to be claimed; however, any character from a Disney Movie (animated or live action), TV show (animated or live action), Short Film (animated or live action), Park, Book, or Game is allowed. For this Crew, Disney distributions, like Spirited Away and The Brave Little Toaster, are open for claims. If you are unsure if your character counts as Disney, just ask

.
3. You may only claim one character per deviantArt profile. You
MUST check the links above to see what characters have already been claimed before you make a claim.
I will not be happy with you if you try to claim someone who is already taken.***I will make allowances for twin characters or groups of characters that in essence act as one (for example, Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp or the Seagulls from Finding Nemo, which are already claimed, by the way). If someone really wants one of a pair of twin characters after the pair has been claimed, I will break up the twins. The second claimant will be given the right to choose which character they want, since the first claimant was greedy and claimed two at once.
4. Once a character is claimed, no one else may claim that character. Character alter-egos
do not count as a separate character. (For example, Aladdin and Prince Ali count as only one character). Characters who appear in more than one medium (for example, in a movie and a tv series) may
not be claimed more than once. There are thousands of Disney characters; be creative in your choice.
5. The Claim journals are arranged alphabetically by Title. Remember that "A" and "The" do not factor into alphabetizing the titles. For example, "The Lion King" will be found under "L", not "T".
All sequels and spin-offs will be lumped together with the main title. For example, claims for the original Aladdin movie, its two sequels, and its TV afternoon cartoon will all be listed under "Aladdin". Characters original to Disney's theme Parks are listed under "D" for
Disney Parks. Mickey and friends are listed under
House of Mouse.
6. A separate list will be maintained with claimants listed alphabetically, to ensure no one tries to make a second claim. If you do attempt to make a second claim, you will forfeit your first claim and be given the second character. If you are unsure whether you have already made a claim, you may check the lists here:
#, A-L or
M-Z7. You may choose to change your character at any time, provided that character is still available. If you change sites, you may switch your claim to your new site as long as you comment from the old site stating that you wish your claim to be moved.
8. Leave a comment on the appropriate claim journal (links are at the top of the page

) stating which character you want to claim and what they appear in. Characters will be listed alphabetically under their title to make it easier to see if a character has already been claimed.
DO NOT SEND YOUR CLAIM IN A NOTE. Claims in notes will be rejected and you will be told to post your claim in a comment.
9. You may only challenge a claim if the original claimant has been banned by dA.
10. Not required but recommended: please copy and paste the following text into your journal or signature, replacing the x's with your character:
